And you think you’ve got it hard?

Next time you turn on the tap and let the water d-r-a-i-n while you brush your teeth, think of how lucky you are!  In 1898, you would have saved every drop of water in your house you could. That was because there was no tap. Actually, there was.  But it was out in the street.  And it was communal. We had better start thinking about conserving our water. The days when water was plentiful and cheap are gone forever. California is in a drought and, if you read your history, it is global climate change that causes the collapse of the Mayan empire. It happened before; it could happen again.
